Founder and Director of Tabula Holdings Limited
John Weiss
John, together with his business partner David Peacock, is a Founder and Director of Tabula Holdings Limited, the parent company of both Tabula Capital and Tabula Investment Management Limited.
Previously, John and David were Partners and Co-Heads of Corporate Credit at Cheyne Capital, a division which they founded in 2002. Over 19 years they built a multi-award-winning alternatives fund business with assets in excess of USD2.5billion, and are recognised as a global leaders in the fields of structured credit, and long/short credit management. Engaging in partnerships with numerous investment banks, they were first-movers in managed synthetic CDOs, balance sheet CLOs and managed single tranches. Their strategies generated an average annualised return of 13.5% over that time.
John began his career in 1992 at J.P. Morgan where he was one of the early pioneers in the credit derivative market with a focus on structured credit trading, before moving to Goldman Sachs to Co-Head the European credit trading business. John graduated from Cambridge University with a First in Mathematics and a Scholarship from Emmanuel College.

David Peacock

David began his career in 1995 at J.P. Morgan within the investor derivatives group, and created the credit derivative marketing group which he ran until moving to Goldman Sachs in 1999. At Goldman Sachs he was Global Head of the Synthetic Portfolio Business. David graduated from Cambridge University with a First in Natural Sciences and a Scholarship of Downing College.

Michael John Lytle
Michael John (“MJ”) Lytle is CEO of Tabula Investment Management. Tabula is focused on creating and managing outstanding funds offering investors precise tools for fine tuning fixed income exposure. Previously MJ was a founding partner in Source, an investment manager focused on the creation and distribution of ETFs, including a partnership with PIMCO to create and distribute a range of fixed income ETFs. Source was purchased by Invesco in 2017. Prior to Source, MJ spent 18 years at Morgan Stanley with a variety of roles across corporate finance, capital markets origination, trading, sales, equity, fixed income, private wealth and technology strategy. Most of these roles revolved around fixed income and evolving and expanding investors’ access to the asset class. MJ has a BA in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College with further studies at the London School of Economics.

Stefan Garcia
Stefan Garcia is Chief Commercial Officer at Tabula with responsibility for EMEA client coverage, strategic business development, and sustainability-related initiatives across product development and marketing. Prior to Tabula, Stefan was Global Head of Distribution at City Financial, a diversified asset manager focused on alternatives with over US$4 billion AuM. Previously, Stefan was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Distribution for EMEA at Source, which he joined when it was founded in 2009, helping to build it into one of the largest ETF businesses in Europe with over US$25 billion AuM. Before this, Stefan was a senior executive and one of the first employees at ETF Securities Limited in London. Stefan holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University.

Jason Smith
Jason Smith is Chief Investment Officer at Tabula with responsibility for portfolio management and product design. Prior to Tabula, Jason was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he managed fixed income portfolios for institutional clients. Previously, he was Head of Portfolio Management for the absolute return funds at Barclays Capital, receiving both a Citywire ‘A’ rating and Lipper leader award for performance. Prior to that, he managed both fixed income and absolute return portfolios at some of the largest asset managers in the industry, including BlackRock, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Towers Perrin and IBM. Jason holds a BA in Banking and Finance from the London Guildhall University and a post-graduate diploma in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Westminster.

Zeeshan Kanji
Zeeshan Kanji is CFO and Compliance Officer at Tabula. Previously, Zeeshan was CFO and CCO at Infinity Investment Partners Limited, an independent investment firm. From September 2006 to May 2020, he was CFO and CCO at Rubicon Fund Management LLP, a boutique investment firm where he was a Partner. Before that, Zeeshan was Head of Finance and Administration at New Smith Capital Partners, an independent investment and advisory partnership. Before joining NewSmith, he was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young. Zeeshan is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc in Economics and Accounting from City University, London.

Abdallah Muhammad
Abdallah Muhammad is responsible for Nordic client coverage at Tabula. Previously, Abdallah was Head of Nordics ETF Business Development at Invesco, having joined following Invesco’s acquisition of Source in 2017. He joined Source in 2014. Prior to that, Abdallah was a client relationship manager for the Nordic region at Janus Capital and BlackRock. He began his career as a treasury investment analyst at Zurich Financial Services before joining Henderson Global Investors as a fund manager assistant. Abdallah holds a BSc in Business Information Technology from Solent University.

UK Coverage
Woon Kim
Woon Kim is responsible for UK client coverage at Tabula. Previously, Woon was responsible for UK/Nordics client coverage at WisdomTree Investments Europe, where he focused on asset managers, private banks and wealth managers. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Jupiter Asset Management, most recently as a Business Development Manager covering the UK wholesale market. Woon holds a BA (Hons) in German with Management Studies from UCL University College London.

Franco Mancini
Franco Mancini is responsible for Italy and Lugano client coverage at Tabula. Previously, Franco was responsible for business development at Redhedge Asset Management. Franco began his career on the eurobond trading desk of Banca MPS before joining BNP Paribas in credit sales within the FICC department. He subsequently held similar roles at Morgan Stanley, Mediobanca and Goldman Sachs. Franco studied Political Sciences at the University of Milan and Business Administration at the European Business School.

Markus Lander
Markus Lander is responsible for Germany and Austria client coverage at Tabula. Previously, Markus was a Senior Banker at Danske Bank in London, where he was responsible for client relationships in Germany and Austria. Prior to that, he spent over eight years at Societe Generale in London, in charge of institutional client coverage in Germany and Austria for the cross asset solutions division. Markus also worked in distribution roles at BlueCrest Capital Management, JP Morgan and Credit Agricole. Markus is a qualified business and personal coach and holds a B.Sc. in Banking & International Finance from Bayes Business School, London.

Head of Investor Relations
Leyton Page
Leyton Page is a Head of Investor Relations at Tabula. Previously, Leyton was head of investor relations at City Financial, an independent investment management firm focused on alternative strategies. Prior to that, he spent six years in the client service and institutional business development teams at CQS, the credit-focused multi-strategy asset manager. Leyton began his career in the institutional marketing team at AllianceBernstein. Leyton has a BSc in Economics from the University of Bath.
