Chief Executive Officer

Michael John Lytle

Michael John (MJ) Lytle is Chief Executive Officer at Janus Henderson Tabula, which became a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors following its acquisition in 2024. He has been with Tabula since its inception in 2018. Previously from 2009, MJ was a founding partner in Source, an investment manager focused on the creation and distribution of ETFs, including a partnership with PIMCO to create and distribute a range of fixed income ETFs. Source was purchased by Invesco in 2017. Prior to Source, MJ spent 18 years at Morgan Stanley with a variety of roles across corporate finance, capital markets origination, trading, sales, equity, fixed income, private wealth and technology strategy. Most of these roles revolved around fixed income and evolving and expanding investors’ access to the asset class.

MJ earned a BA degree in economics and government from Dartmouth College and an international economics and relations certificate from the London School of Economics. He has 35 years of financial industry experience.

Chief Commercial Officer

Stefan Garcia

Stefan Garcia is Chief Commercial Officer at Janus Henderson Tabula, which became a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors following its acquisition in 2024. In this role, which he has held since joining Tabula in 2020, he is responsible for EMEA client coverage, strategic business development, and sustainability-related initiatives across product development and marketing. From 2019 to early 2020, he was focused on founding and raising working capital from several global family offices for a new sustainability-focused asset management business based in London. From 2016 to 2018, Stefan was global head of distribution at City Financial, a diversified asset manager focused on alternatives with over US$4 billion in assets at peak. Before this, he was a managing director and co-head of distribution for EMEA at Source, which he joined when it was founded in 2009, helping to build it into one of the largest ETF businesses in Europe – Invesco acquired Source in 2017. Stefan began his career in asset management with ETF Securities in London in 2005, where he was one of the first employees and helped build the business from inception to US$8 billion in assets before moving to Source in 2009. Prior to moving to London in 2003 to complete his MBA, Stefan worked as an associate for Citigroup in Mexico from 1999 to 2000 and as a senior associate for an independent merchant bank in the United States from 2000 to 2002.

Stefan received a BA degree in economics from Brown University and holds an MBA from London Business School. He has 24 years of financial industry experience.

Chief Investment Officer

Rhys Petheram

Rhys Petheram is Chief Investment Officer at Janus Henderson Tabula, which became a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors following its acquisition in 2024. Rhys joined Tabula in 2024 and brings over 20 years of experience in fixed income and multi-asset investment. Most recently, he served as the head of the environmental investment team and as a fund manager at Jupiter Asset Management. Over his 17-year tenure at Jupiter, Rhys managed a range of global credit, government bond and multi-asset portfolios for both retail and institutional investors. His prior experience includes roles as a fundamental credit analyst at Moody’s Investors Service and an analyst with Towers Perrin in Australia.

Rhys holds a degree in commerce from the University of Melbourne and is an author of the CFA Certificate in Climate and Investing. He is currently undertaking an MSc in climate change and development, with a dissertation focused on the interactions between top-down international climate finance and bottom-up community-based climate action. Rhys hold the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 24 years of financial industry experience.

Chief Financial Officer

Zeeshan Kanji

Zeeshan Kanji is Chief Financial Officer at Janus Henderson Tabula, which became a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors following its acquisition in 2024. He has held this role since joining Tabula in September 2021. Before this, from June 2020, he was CFO and CCO with Infinity Investment Partners Limited. From 2006 to 2020, Zeeshan was CFO, CCO, and partner at Rubicon Fund Management LLP.  He was Head of Finance and Administration at New Smith Capital Partners LLP from April 2004. From 2001 to 2004 he was with Ernst & Young.

Zeeshan holds a BSc degree in economics and accounting from City, University of London. He is a Chartered Accountant and has 25 years of financial industry experience.

Nordics coverage

Abdallah Muhammad

Abdallah Muhammad is responsible for Nordic client coverage at Janus Henderson Tabula, which became a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors following its acquisition in 2024. He has held this role since joining Tabula in 2020. Previously, Abdallah was head of Nordics ETF business development at Invesco, having joined following Invesco’s acquisition of Source in 2017. He joined Source in 2014. Prior to that, Abdallah was a client relationship manager for the Nordic region for both Janus Capital Group from 2012 and BlackRock from 2009. He was with Henderson Global Investors from 2007 and began his career as a treasury investment analyst at Zurich Financial Services in 2005.

Abdallah holds a BSc degree in business information technology from Solent University. He has 20 years of financial industry experience.

UK Coverage

Woon Kim

Woon Kim is responsible for UK client coverage at Janus Henderson Tabula, which became a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors following its acquisition in 2024. He has held this role since joining Tabula in 2022. Previously, he was responsible for UK/Nordics client coverage at WisdomTree Investments Europe from 2019, where he focused on asset managers, private banks, and wealth managers. Prior to that, Woon spent seven years at Jupiter Asset Management from 2012, most recently as a business development manager covering the UK wholesale market from 2017.

Woon holds a BA degree (Hons) in German with management studies from UCL, University College London. He has 13 years of financial industry experience.

Italian Speaking Client Coverage

Franco Mancini

Franco Mancini is responsible for Italian client coverage at Janus Henderson Tabula, which became a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors following its acquisition in 2024. He has held this role since joining Tabula in 2020. Previously, Franco was responsible for business development at Redhedge Asset Management from 2017. He held several sales roles from 1997 to 2017 with firms, including BNP Paribas, Morgan Stanley, Mediobanca, Goldman Sachs, and Compagnie Financier Tradition. He began his career in 1993 on the Euro bond trading desk of Banca Monte Paschi di Siena.

Franco studied at both the University of Milan and EU Business School. He has 32 years of financial industry experience.

Head of Investor Relations

Leyton Page

Leyton Page is Head of Investor Relations at Janus Henderson Tabula, which became a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors following its acquisition in 2024. He has held this role since joining Tabula in 2019.

Previously, Leyton was head of investor relations at City Financial from 2016. Prior to that, he spent six years in the client service and institutional business development teams at CQS, the credit-focused multi-strategy asset manager. Leyton began his financial career in 2005 in the institutional marketing team at AllianceBernstein.

Leyton received a BSc in economics from the University of Bath. He has 20 years of financial industry experience.

Switzerland & Liechtenstein Coverage

Mark Vallon

Mark is responsible for covering Switzerland and Liechtenstein at Janus Henderson Tabula, which became a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors following its acquisition in 2024. He has held this role since joining Tabula as a consultant in 2023. Previously, Mark was the deputy head of BlackRock’s wealth client business unit in Switzerland, where he drove the local business development by delivering the firm’s entire proposition in market insights, portfolio analytics, indexing and across actively managed traditional and alternative investment solutions, having initially joined the firm in 2019 as head of wealth Switzerland for the ETF and index investment client business.

Before BlackRock, Mark was an executive director and head of Switzerland and Liechtenstein coverage at Source, which he joined in 2012, helping to build it into one of the largest ETF businesses in Europe with over USD 25 billion in assets. He also held senior business development positions at Bellevue Asset Management, BNP Paribas Investment Partners and UBS Wealth Management, where he started his career in 1999, covering private, HNW and UHNW clients in Switzerland and the UK.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from HWZ University of Applied Sciences in business administration and a master’s in entrepreneurship from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. Mark holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and has 26 years of financial industry experience.
